Location is perfect but rooms require double glazing to block the loud noises outside. Junior suite where I stayed was nice but a little too junior for the price you pay in Vietnam. Breakfast was good variety of food but coffee was not that good Filtered american style coffee, tasteless. Most foods were nice but those ones that needed to be served as hot food weren't hot enough. Indoor swimming pool in an inner city hotel in Hanoi is gold but the water for a swimming pool that doesn't catch any sun, is too cold. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice but very small and pokey for the price you pay in Hanoi. Overall it is a nice hotel but their room rates are way too high for what they are. Excellent prompt room service. Nice bathroom toiletry .

I love how the staff was so welcoming the moment i reached the hotel especially jenny who has showed so such kindness and hospitality to someone who is travelling solo in hanoi for the first time. The concierge staffs were also very prompt with requests and offer to send more items at the same time even though i did not request for it. The night before i checked out, i was down with some ?food poisoning/ GI Infection, the staffs working that night was so helpful - they attempted to look for clinics that were open (but none was due to vietnam's holiday), they drive out to the pharmacy open and assisted to get medications for me. Really appreciate the kind gestures that made my hanoi trip such a memorable one. (:

It was a beautiful and clean hotel. We loved the location and was very central in the old quarter stay for our last 2 days in Vietnam. Our junior suite was upgraded and included a bath tub with views down beer street. The bed was firm but it was comfortable. Breakfast had lots of options and was beautiful. Rex Hanoi offers a pool but we arrived late and left early morning so never got to use it. Staff are very helpful and offered options for tours or things to do if we wanted to navigate things by ourselves. They do offer a driver for hotel to airport transfer but we used Grab as it was cheaper but loved the services offered. For the services offered and the price was very reasonable and would love to stay again.

The hotel was really good with very welcoming staff. We reached the place very early before our check in time and rooms were not available for early check-in, yet the hotel staff made us very comfortable by providing us with tea, water and allowing us to rest in the lobby. Especially Ms. Jenny from the Relationships department was very friendly, made us comfortable and provided us details of Vietnam helping us in planning or vacation very well. She also got in touch with us well in advance to help us plan our trip too.

We extended our stay, calling the hotel was very easy before flying into Hanoi, I spoke with Jenny who was lovely and very helpful with sorting out our extra stay. The location of the hotel is ideal, just around the corner is the lake and within reach are banks, restaurants and a ton of shops! An ideal location for first time visitors to Hanoi. The door staff and reception were very helpful and this made our stay beyond excellent. We look forward to coming back to such fantastic hospitality
